A legend reinvents itself
Against the backdrop of Miami Beach, architect Richard Meier and interior designer Joseph Dirand have brought the legendary Surf Club into a new era.
The teak Illum table maintains the slender proportions of the aluminium version, using the finest teak from carefully managed plantations in East Java. The table top connects with the legs in a single, smooth curve. The corners are hand-sculpted and sanded from a solid piece of wood, showing the natural beauty of the teak. There are no hard edges on this Illum table – all contours are rounded for a soft, pleasing look and feel.. The Illum teak table comes with a teak or ceramic table top. The joints and contours are gently rounded, which adds to its tactile appeal and gives the new Illum a warm, pleasing look.
The teak Illum comes in a standard 98cm-width as well as a narrower 73cm width. This makes it ideal for casual dining on smaller patios and balconies.
