Valcucine's research with Abet Laminati has developed a new titanium finish on an aluminium base. The texture, the capacity of reflecting light and the slight iridescent effect of real titanium has been studied to obtain a surface that transmits the same sensations of real titanium without its serious fault: difficult to clean fingerprints.
The high quality level derives from technical innovation used for the creation of the first single-block door in dematerialised layered laminate. It is made using an aluminium structural frame to which various types of panels in different materials are applied: layered HPL in many different colours, wood-laminate layered laminate, lacquered MDF, glass. This system gives the door a very high resistance to humidity, heat and impact, a reduction of weight with a consequent longer hinge life, more silent door closing, easier recyclability, less environmental impact (less consumption of materials and energy). The great versatility of the new Artematica models makes it possible to create a customised kitchen that satisfies any aesthetic taste, reflecting life-style and personalities.
