The Husk series, successfully presented last year initially as an indoor armchair and later in an outdoor version as well, has been further expanded by Patricia Urquiola to include a comfortable dining chair. Its distinguishing feature is an unmistakable modular shell with a “capitonné” design. The small armchair, inspired by an investigation of new proportions, is not intended to be used exclusively at the table but can also find a variety of uses in spaces outside the home. The two traditional colours for the plastic shell, white and black, are now joined by the new thick leather version in five colourways, which radically change the look of the chair. Two options are also available for the bases: fixed with four legs in different finishes or a swivel with four star base. The fabric or leather covers are quilted in a design that mirrors the form of the supporting shell.
