Lockers have always been a feature of changing rooms and public facilities. They are also becoming increasingly important in offices: where personal desks and storage space are now only available to a few, there is a growing need for lockable compartments for personal belongings. gumpo relies on electronic locks that lock and unlock the cabinets contactlessly using RFID technology.
These locks typically communicate with the user via an acoustic signal and a light signal generated by an LED. gumpo has found a unique and elegant solution to discreetly channel this light signal to the front of the locker. No fittings or locks detract from the clean appearance.
In addition to battery-powered locks, wired locks can also be installed. Power supply and cable routing are provided via the base; removable panels ensure that cables and hardware are easily accessible. Wired systems can be centrally managed and fitted with operating terminals. As each compartment is supplied with power, mobile devices can be charged inside the compartments. The security lockers can be integrated into existing systems, allowing existing transponders to continue to be used.
