Uncompromising to the smallest detail, authentic and unmistakeable design principles, and featuring state-of-the-art ergonomics and functionaity – at this year's ORGATEC, König + Neurath presents an elegant collection of boardroom and conference chairs to set high standards: the AURAY chair family offers all the features of a high-end classic to set new standards in the high-end segment. The minimalist aesthetic of this premium chair created by 2DO-DESIGN, which is based on the design approaches seen in architecture, is characterised by the flowing lines of the aluminium base and selected quality materials. The weight-bearing components – backrest, cantilever seat and armrest – merge into one another to form a harmonious, homogeneous unit. AURAY will be available as a task chair with high and low backrest as well as a number of configuration options. 

AURAY epitomises a consistent development approach with no compromises – no stone has been left unturned. From the chrome star base, upholstery and integral headrest to the synchro mechanism – every single component and detail was developed and perfected specifically for the AURAY chair family rather than borrowing modules from existing König + Neurath models. The effort was certainly worth it, in the opinion of the Stuttgart design office 2DO-Design. The result is a chair programme from a single source, which combines confident design and elegance with outstanding functionality to create a natural-looking unit with a high recognition factor. "The AURAY as a finished product today" say designers Angela Eberhardt and Dietmar Fissl, "is more precise, ambitious, intuitive and authentic than it was in its early development phase."  The seamless inset leather armrest pads on the C-armrests and the integral neck support are mini works of art in their own right.  This is a reflection of the expertise invested by König + Neurath, and the company's "Made in Germany" philosophy.
