Nordhavn sends a textile message

Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec not only dream up textile designs for Kvadrat. They have also for the second time designed the label’s Copenhagen flagship showroom.
Casa features bright specks of colour, such as blue, green and pink, which are intermingled with understated, neutral tones. As a result, it appears unicoloured from a distance but reveals a variety of rich yet delicate colours, as the viewer gets closer.
Casa is woven in a plain weave and made from shiny melange yarns, which offer exceptional colour depth. These create an elegant, random play across the surface of the curtain, and shimmer or appear matt according to the light and the styling of the interior where they are used.
