For more than 145 years we are making furniture now. 145 years of traditional craftsmanship in Bockhorn in the north of Germany We like to move things and are now responsibly leading our family business in the 5th generation. More than 30 carpenters, male and female, work with wood in our own plant. Wood is a wonderful material, it can be formed and processed in many different ways. We purchase wood out of sustainable forest management (FSC, PEFC) and carefully handle all resources. We love to cooperate with designers. Their fresh ideas are motivating us and at the same time challenge our readiness for innovations. Why do designers hate compromises? Because they always have something in mind. We respect this and together we work on a product as long as it is perfect. If at the end we are not completely convinced of a product it will not be introduced into the market. Our furniture always solves an existing problem thoroughly considering the design, function, quality and cost effectiveness. Our understanding of design is characterized by our German roots and our traditional craftsmanship.
