NOVELTY
Thonet: 521 by Marco Dessí

The 521 swivel chair by Marco Dessí combines cozy seating comfort with the requirements of modern work and communication spaces. The softly contoured, fully upholstered shell is visually lightened by an opening in the backrest and slim upholstery. A distinctive detail is the wooden saddle beneath the seat, which ties the chair to the 520 product family.

The 521 is available in two versions: with a five-arm swivel base, casters, and stepless height adjustment for flexible workstations, and with a four-arm swivel base and automatic return function for conference and meeting rooms. Both versions feature a lockable tilt mechanism; height adjustment is available as an option. Aluminum frames in polished or black powder-coated finishes, as well as various wood, fabric, and leather finishes, allow for a variety of configurations.
