NOVELTY
Alias: Lanuda chair by Riccardo Blumer
Design reduced to the essentials.
With Lanuda, Riccardo Blumer transfers his radical approach to reduction from wood to aluminium. Following the iconic Laleggera (1996), this new chair is made from just ten aluminium sheets, only 3 mm thick and laser-perforated to the limit of feasibility.
The result: a stackable seating sculpture — light, graphic, and technically precise. Exposed rivets highlight its structural logic, while the matte black finish enhances its clear lines and strong visual presence.
