Arper 2021: MIXU
Studio Gensler has developed the "Mixu" chair together with Arper - a modular piece of furniture with a reduced form that allows designers and architects to customise it for their projects.
The three-part system of "Mixu" by Studio Gensler and Arper consists of a seat, backrest and base and can be designed with countless colour and texture combinations to suit your needs - be it with recycled polypropylene, plywood, steel, fabric or leather. A customised cover can also be applied. In addition, there is a choice of five colour tones for the cover and lacquer finish. With regard to the production of "Mixu", neither glue nor staples are used for the upholstery of the backrest and seat and the polyurethane foam filling. The components can therefore be easily replaced at any time. (am)
