The color of the sky
Just in time for the start of spring, luminaire manufacturer Tobias Grau has given its award-winning desk lamp "John" a contemporary update and launched it in a fresh light blue. The new variant of "John" has been available since mid-April and is inspired by the color of the sky on a sunny day. The luminaire thus creates a fresh and pleasant atmosphere in the office or home. At the same time, "John" convinces not only with its flexibility, but also with the possible light settings, in that light brightness and light warmth can be adjusted simply and easily with the integrated technology "Color Tune". The touch of a finger is all it takes to vary between four color and brightness levels. The spectrum ranges from clear 3500 K light to a softer glow at 2400 K.
With the new color and the flexible setting options, Tobias Grau is pursuing the goal of contributing to human well-being. To this end, the luminaire also takes into account the fact that work and living are increasingly merging, such as in the home office. "Color Tune" provides healthy light for this purpose for all moods, tasks and times of day – from concentrated work to dinner with friends to reading before bed. Due to an advanced optical lens, "John" provides glare-free light while also being energy efficient. In addition, the color rendering of CRI > 90 represents different colors and textures with the highest accuracy. In addition to "John", the luminaire "Parrot" and the new-work series "Team" are also available in the same shade of blue.
