REVIEW – SALONE DEL MOBILE & MILAN DESIGN WEEK 2025
The Salone del Mobile.Milano and the Milan Design Week took place from 8 to 13 April 2025. In the review, you can find out which ideas are currently moving the creative minds and which concepts were particularly impressive.
AWARD NOMINATION
A flexible seating island that offers maximum comfort: With ‘Elianto’, Norwegian designer Espen Øino for Paola Lenti created a round platform that is a great addition to both a yacht and a terrace.
STYLEPARK PEDRALI
Pedrali outdoor furniture is inspired by the natural beauty of Italian landscapes. They carry the flair of Mediterranean sunny spots – and transform outdoor spaces into places of serene harmony.
AWARD NOMINATION
In the new "Philía" outdoor chairs for Pedrali, Odo Fioravanti has combined durable materials with a natural colour palette. A cross-woven cord on the seat and backrest embraces the body.
AWARD NOMINATION
Paola Lenti brings modularity to the outside with the new "Santorini" outdoor sofa. The series consists of two- or three-seater elements, a chaise longue and a round stool that can be combined for any space.
AWARD NOMINATION
Spanish manufacturer Expormim is presenting new furniture this summer for extensive outdoor activities with low energy requirements. With the "Cask" chaise longue, Norm Architects are contributing a flexible fresh air version to their elegant series.
AWARD NOMINATION
"Malvasia" is the name of a Mediterranean type of grape of ancient origin. The perforated shell of the outdoor chair with the same name designed by Francesca Lanzavecchia for the Italian manufacturer S-CAB, casts vegetative shadow patterns and offers a comfortable seat both indoors and outdoors.
