Horreds, Suède

In the beautiful countryside Viskadalen between Halland and Västergötland is Horreds Furniture located since 1936. Horreds makes furniture marked with Nordic Ecolabel for both homes and public buildings based on a natural approach which contains design, quality and environmental concerns. The furniture manufactured in Horreds are of high quality which gives a long lifetime. Horreds goal is not to be best at producing and selling high-quality furniture with tasteful design and also to produce simultaneously timeless and modern furniture with a long life.

Horreds currently runs a client-driven production which results in minimal waste. This means that no products are specialized and that all products are produced as standard output regardless of the amount. Horreds produces today up to 90% customized products, both to achieve high design and quality for the customer and to promote the customers brand.

Today more than 50 people work at Horreds together with Per-Ola and Åsa Johansson, who runs the company. Horreds only cooperates with independent designers as Fredrik Mattson, Anne Krook, Lars Pettersson, Morgan Rudberg, Thomas Sandell and Bror Boije.
