Adjustable mirrors

HEWI provides the option of skilfully adding accentuation, with ergonomics and function naturally included. Thanks to their timeless design, HEWI mirrors integrate perfectly into any sanitary room. Adjustable mirrors are used in particular, where prewall installations prevent installation of a continuous mirror. This is primarily the case in renovation and modernisation projects in existing buildings. HEWI supplements its adjustable mirror range with new illuminated and unilluminated designs, thereby offering even more comfort and convenience for users.

In addition to the new adjustable mirror in Range 801 – an unilluminated version – from June 2019, two adjustable mirrors with integrated LED lighting will be available. HEWI has integrated modern lighting technology in its adjustable mirrors already established and proven on the market. This new feature is available as LED basic and LED plus versions. LED basic illuminates with high-quality aluminium light profiles in the light colour natural white (approx. 4,000 kelvin). LED plus has light functions that are unique in the adjustable mirror segment. The user can flexibly set the light to their own individual needs. In addition to the continuously adjustable light temperature, from warm white to cold white (3,000 to 6,500 kelvin), the light intensity can also be dimmed. The LED plus light is controlled by a Bluetooth wall switch (EnOcean technology), requiring neither hard-wired power or batteries. In this way, HEWI opens up optimum positioning at the washbasin – focussed on the individual needs of the user.

HEWI mirrors fulfil the highest safety standards. If the mirror should break under excessive loading, it remains in its bracket thanks to integrated shatter protection. The adjustable mirrors have a splinter-binding effect that minimises the risk of injuries. The control element is made of high-gloss polyamide in all HEWI colours or is available the matt Edition in black, grey and white.
