The subtle difference

Light + Building recently closed its doors to the public in Frankfurt/Main. Which topics are people still talking about? Here is Stylepark’s retrospective overview of the fair.
Moonati is a light object of beauty and harmonious charisma. The paper arch is circularly stretched on light metal wires, and can be compared with the spreading wings of a crane. Moonati is fixed to the wall and therefore does not need a table or sideboard as a foundation. Like all the papers of the MaMoNouchies series, the screen consists of Japanese paper, which is treated in several steps in Dagmar Mombach’s factory until it reaches the desired shape. An LED module with a heat sink is installed inside the shade. The module was developed by Ingo Maurer especially for the MaMoNouchies. The light is warm and soft, and can hardly be distinguished from conventional halogen light.
