Camira Fabrics: Nesta
Sustainable bouclé for modern commercial spaces: Circular design meets a natural feel.
Textile innovator Camira has introduced “Nesta,” a new bouclé fabric made from recycled polyester. The collection was designed for modern commercial interiors and aims to bring warmth and a variety of textures to workspaces, dining areas, and educational settings.
The color palette includes 27 muted natural tones, weathered shades of green, and sky blue. Color names such as Warren, Den, Rest, and Dwell reflect the design intention of creating a natural retreat.
In terms of sustainability, Nesta is based on the principles of circular design. The fabric is made from recycled post-consumer plastic bottles and textile-to-textile recycled polyester. A pure monocomposite polyester construction ensures full recyclability at the end of the product’s life cycle.
Technically, the material meets the requirements for high-traffic commercial spaces. It offers dimensional stability, color consistency, and seam stability, and is equally suitable for task chairs, upholstered furniture, curtains, and drapes.
