Camira 2022: MAIN LINE FLAX

Camira offers 24 new colours for its popular "Main Line Flax" textile series, which refresh the palette and increase the design possibilities many times over.

"Main Line Flax" is a popular classic in Camira's range: combining the strong fibres of wild flax and heavenly soft wool in a 75:25 ratio creates a flame retardant, smooth fabric that is suitable for both seating upholstery, acoustic panels and curtains. Thanks to the dyeing of the flax fibres, the final yarns are marvellously mottled and can be translated into single and multi-coloured fabrics that remain exciting even at second glance and can be ideally combined with the other textiles, such as the new "Main Line Twist". Camira has selected 24 new colours for "Main Line Flax", thus creating a multitude of new design possibilities. In addition, "Main Line Flax" shows a perfect environmental balance: one hectare of flax absorbs 3.7 tonnes of CO2 during growth, only little water is needed for cultivation, and after harvesting, every element of the plant can be used, so there is no waste. The fabric is also completely biodegradable and compostable. (am)
