Joel und Kate Booy von Truly Truly

Human before function

The Truly Truly design studio is creating its vision of living with "Das Haus" for the upcoming imm cologne from 14 to 20 January 2019.

"For us, home is a place to relax," says Joel and Kate Booy from Truly Truly. At the upcoming international furnishing fair imm cologne from 14 to 20 January 2019, the Rotterdam-based design studio will present its vision for "Das Haus". In Pure-Editions Hall 3.1, the designer duo's vision of contemporary living will be turned into an experiment about living itself. Truly Truly dissolves functional boundaries of spaces and translates them into active and calm zones that can be chosen according to mood. Communication and interaction are to be promoted within organic living, traditional ways of functioning are to be questioned. With the realisation of their "house", Joel and Kate Booy stand as newcomers in a row with established designers such as Sebastian Herkner, Todd Bracher and Louise Campbell, who in recent years have presented their idea of the possibilities of living at the imm cologne.
