The award provides a compact overview of current developments in the industry and serves as a guide.

Volta
Design: Yves Béhar

Jury statement:
“Volta” by Yves Béhar for Laufen sets new standards in washbasin design by combining form and function. The gently sloping inner surfaces create a natural water vortex that prolongs the flow of water, facilitates cleaning, and raises awareness of resource conservation. The central drain creates additional space below the basin and enables a minimalist aesthetic without a classic siphon.
