Inspired by the classic kitchen chair of the 60s and 70s, Florian Kienast developed the design for the W-1970. Thanks to its classic and timeless design, the W-1970 can be used in many interior designs. Based on its distinctive design, combined with the latest Dondola technology, the W-1970 has the potential to become a classic. “Movement” is possible based on the three-dimensionally moveable Dondola joint under the sitting surface as well on the backrest. It uncouples the rigid connection between the intricate steel construction and the natural wood, ensuring micro movements during sitting, which relieve and strengthen the spine. Florian Kienast integrated the patented Dondola joint by WAGNER in his design in such a way that there can hardly be a more elegant method of combining design and function.
