From Christian Werner, designer of the EVERYWHERE range of storage, now comes SELVANS, which is characterised by the use of grooved dark-stained walnut veneer on its fronts and sides. This grooved dark-stained walnut veneer is composed of slim panels clad in several layers of thick, mass-tinted veneer then finished in American walnut veneer. This thickness of ‘wood’ then makes it possible for the fronts to be grooved, revealing the “dark” layer beneath. Finally, a hand-applied surface treatment is applied (with a gun): stain + base + varnish. The width of the channels is 4 mm both at the top and in the hollow. The depth of the grooving is around 3.5 mm.
