Cozmo: HUG by PearsonLloyd
A modular sofa, developed using a physical model – clear in form, close to people.
What would happen if you designed a sofa with your hands instead of on a computer? The answer is Hug: a modular sofa system made of foam, springs and steel that is designed for the body and the senses.
London-based design studio Pearson Lloyd has created a piece of furniture that feels like a hug. The form? Clear, minimalist, with a touch of Bauhaus. The function? Suitable for everyday use, easy to assemble, durable. The covers can be replaced and the frame is foldable – well thought out for a life in flux.
What makes Hug special is its closeness to people. Every angle, every seam was created directly on the physical model – the body was the reference. The result: a sofa that not only looks good, but also feels good.
It's a piece of furniture that grows and evolves with you.
