EXTENSIA is a flexible, elegant dining table that brings together functional requirements and a refined architectural approach. The top comprises a thin porcelain stoneware layer bonded to a glass support plate, producing a slim profile with increased surface resilience. A steel cross frame built from square steel profiles provides structural stability and a clear geometric expression, while tapered ash legs offer a warm, contrasting accent to the technical top. Attention to junctions and edge detailing underscores the piece’s high level of craftsmanship and long-term durability.
Designed with a smooth extension mechanism, the table accommodates six people in its closed configuration and comfortably seats eight when extended, making it well suited for both residential dining rooms and contract settings. The restrained aesthetic of EXTENSIA allows it to integrate into contemporary interiors while offering the robustness required for frequent use. Materials and construction have been specified to support ease of maintenance and longevity, addressing the practical expectations of architects, interior designers and procurement professionals.
