KUJOYAMA

Year of design: 2020 | Design: Benjamin Graindorge
KUJOYAMA

KUJOYAMA is a restrained, precisely proportioned shelving system that translates the quiet discipline of Japanese architectural principles into a modular furniture solution. Created by Benjamin Graindorge and inspired by his work and stays at Villa Kujoyama in Kyoto, the system is characterised by balanced proportions, subtle detailing and a reduced formal language. Its composition pairs wall-mounted panels with slender shelves and uprights in ash, producing a composed, structured presence that supports books, objects and media without asserting itself. The joinery and construction detail emphasise durability and a refined craftsmanship that complements both contemporary and more classical interiors.

The system is modular and adaptable, designed to be configured along wall surfaces and combined with enclosed elements to address varying storage and display needs. KUJOYAMA is suitable for residential living areas, libraries and professional environments where an understated aesthetic and precise proportioning are required. For specific dimensions, finish options and installation guidance, please refer to the technical documentation and available configuration details.
