A spectacular pedestal table, the base of which is in solid oak; its top is in lacquered steel. The solid oak base will change over time and will split (or not!), as per the designer’s wish. Each piece will thus be unique. Christian Werner lives in Hamburg, a city bisected by the River Elbe and characterized by its huge port. The history of the city and its identity are closely linked to this port, in which one once more sees the old mooring posts made from wood and metal. Zock is a reinterpretation of these mooring posts.
