Wilkhahn has furnished the New York Stock Exchange's historic meeting rooms with jehs+laub's striking Graph conference chairs.

jehs+lab extend the "Jalis" sofa and chair family for COR with a comfortable lounge armchair whose contours are accentuated and technical functions are concealed.

Young and smart designs characterise COR's programme – an excerpt of which can be experienced during Milan Design Week in the showroom in the Brera district.

The start of the year is reservedly optimistic in view of the ongoing pandemic and strengthens the desire for variety, energy and colour. For a fresh boost, we have gathered a colourful bouquet of current interior products for you from our Novelties Stage.

Peaceful seating islands or changing sofascapes. With their new range of “pads” for Brunner, jehs+laub have come up with playful commercial furniture which can be adapted as required to individual space situations.

Hard-edged and technoid or soft and round – formally furniture and fashion are certainly not so far apart from each other.

They’re back in fashion – small, light armchairs with a wooden or tubular steel frame. In the 1950s and 1960s they came to fame as “easy chairs”; now they’ve morphed into “lounge chairs”. For the office or the home.

On the silver screen and at Orgatec, office environments are depicted as having a life of their own. What kind of image of reality do they convey? A rummage through the film archives and walkabout in the trade fair halls.

Orgatec 2012 in Cologne presents the 21st-century office as an urban landscape in colors as fresh as spring itself. Seldom does one feel so content at work – be it alone in a cocoon or in a meeting in a sheltered seating group.

The designers Markus Jehs and Jürgen Laub have been working together under the name Jehs+Laub for over 14 years now. We met them at Orgatec in Cologne, and spoke to them about their relationship with manufacturers, the quality of entrances, trends, sustainability, and the strengths and weaknesses of the other.
