PLUMY armchair

Plumy was born from the collaboration between Michel Roset and the upholstery R&D department with designer Annie Hieronimus 35 years ago, according to a specification laid out and overseen by Michel Roset. Why reissue this model ? Michel Roset explains : “Answering this question is interesting because if there was no network of Cinna distributors with an affection for the brand and thus no affection for the best-sellers, we would never have taken this risk – it is really quite ‘trendy’ today. And yet the most obvious reason is that the model has not aged one bit and is even more comfortable thanks to the new generation of high resilience foams.
Why this model ? This model, more than any other, because it represents the expertise of the all-foam seating launched by the Group from 1966, with optimised industrial investment without equivalent today.

The January 2016 reissue of an ‘iconic’ model: Annie Hiéronimus’ Plumy (1980) was the hallmark of the Eighties and its ‘génération vautrée’.

3 elements of comfort :
– The structure of the armchairs and settees is uniquely designed using glued-together blocks of polyether foam and polyurethane Bultex foam of different densities.
– All the seat or back cushions are filled with goose feathers (85% feathers / 15% down).
– the option of angling the back cushions and unfolding the seat cushions makes possible all kinds of positions for sitting and relaxing (chaise longue position).

Thus, in 1980, it was not wrong to announce, ‘Plumy – comfort with a capital C and relaxation with a capital R.
