Knit Series – Light to see and feel

The Knit Series is the result of a collaboration between Hollis+Morris, known for sculptural and sustainably manufactured luminaires, and BYBORRE, a Dutch studio for textile innovation. The result is a new typology of light that combines visual and haptic qualities.

The BYBORRE textile not only serves as a surface, but also shapes the function and form of the luminaire. It mediates between structure and softness, precision and warmth. The textile depth gently diffuses the light and creates an atmospheric aura.

The collaboration is based on a shared understanding of sustainability. Hollis+Morris pursues a consistently environmentally conscious approach, while BYBORRE stands for transparent processes and material innovation. Every detail – from the fibre to the shape – reflects the desire to combine design and responsibility.
