agape: Tambre by David Chipperfield
A new bathroom collection combines precise woodworking, clean lines, and a calm, intimate aesthetic into a modular overall design.
With Tambre, Agape and David Chipperfield present their first joint bathroom collection. The freestanding bathtub combines okoumé plywood and hardwood into a clearly structured design composed of horizontally joined elements. Its warm color and fine grain give it a calm, intimate presence.
The slightly raised backrest blends seamlessly into the tub and ensures a relaxed posture. Technical components are fully integrated into the tub’s body. In addition to two freestanding sizes, a version with a shelf and integrated shower is available.
The design concept continues in the vanity, which can be configured as a countertop model, a wall-mounted variant, a pedestal, or a unit connected to the bathtub. This creates a modular product family that allows for a variety of bathroom configurations.
