Gandia Blasco: HOS by Kengo Kuma
Rain and fog become clear geometric patterns – craftsmanship meets sustainable materials
Kengo Kuma interprets natural phenomena such as rain, earth, and fog through geometric patterns—an approach he also pursues in his architecture. For GANDIABLASCO Edition, he designed the HOS collection, comprising a deckchair and stool, whose iroko wood structure draws on classic Japanese carpentry: milled, interlocking parts without nails or screws.
The fabrics, made from 100% recycled PET, reflect atmospheric phenomena and are produced on traditional hand looms in the Shito-Shito, Sara-Sara, and Moya-Moya variants.
HOS combines function with craftsmanship and is available exclusively as a limited edition of 300 pieces.
