A ‘super-candle’ with a sphere on top
With the distinctive veil of irony, disguised beneath a rigorous aesthetic, that defines Piero Lissoni’s design approach, Jam Session is a floor lamp that draws on multiple archetypal references: the torch, the flame, and the architectural plinth.
The lamp consists of a concrete base with three openings designed to host interchangeable light heads, reminiscent of torches or, in the designer’s own words: “super candles.” The concept is simple yet original, born from juxtaposition of different materials and lighting elements with distinct formal languages.
Highly versatile in function, Jam Session suits countless applications in both residential and contract settings.
