Lobby for Oxford
Herzog & de Meuron’s new building in Oxford captivates visitors with its purist selection of colors and materials, as well as the comfortable furnishings including chairs by Wilkhahn.
The compact, yet still spacious four-legged chair stands apart primarily for its superb functionality in terms of comfort, handling and facility management. Combined with a superb aesthetic it's an appealing piece of furniture for high-class restaurants or home dining rooms. Its crisply shaped form, elegant, subtly organic profile and top-quality look and feel are impressive characteristics that are ideal for multi-purpose conference spaces, or dining rooms at elite universities.
By popular request, to the standard model with its athletic and stylish proportions Wilkhahn has added a model with a backrest that’s just under 20 per cent higher. The proportions of this design accentuate the differences better between backdrops and levels in the hierarchy and show for example where the chairperson's sitting. The chair is now even classier and offers even greater comfort – particularly in long meetings. The new Ceno model is available with a bright chrome-plated or black or matt silver-satin frame. A range of covers is available from the Wilkhahn fabric and leather collection.
