The divan-base Jalis21 sofa brings a touch of the Orient into the home. Oriental traditions of sitting and relaxing were the inspiration for this sofa programme. So it is not surprising that it always looks as if a few loose cushions are lying together. The archetypal seating furniture is reduced entirely to its original form – the folded cushion. The straight contours are ingeniously emphasised by a double cut seam. In addition, the divan-base design is particularly versatile: The individual, sumptuously designed seating elements can be used separately as an easy chair or stool, or as a sofa or an entire reclining area.
